Our sedentary lifestyle has made us to sit for prolonged hours. We cannot avoid sitting too long if we are in desk job. Finally, it results in bad posture due to cramping necks and slouching backs. It also gives lot of health issues like back pain, neck pain and shoulder pain. Luckily, we can sort these problems and we can prevent ourselves from them. The common problem we face is the back pain. Here are some ergonomic tips to avoid back pain and to live a healthy life.
Check out your keyboard tray height
If you are working with your computer, the first thing you should be cared about is the desk setup. The table should be in correct height. It should give you proper space for your legs and should have proper desk space too. It will be really good if the table’s height is adjustable. It will improve your posture to a certain level.
Position your monitor in correct place:
Watch out your monitor position while working. The monitor should be in line with your eye or just an inch below it. Maintain a correct height with your monitor. Don’t sit too long in your chairs during the works. Sitting for long hours will decrease your metabolism. Experts say that back pains are caused mostly due to prolonged sitting. So take a break for every half an hour and walk for a minute or two. It will refresh you and will tend to do your work more efficiently than before. Make a change in your working style and try standing for certain minutes rather than sitting too long. Just follow this simple technique to relax yourself.

Another important cause for the back pain is improper posture. So don’t bend your back or crouch your neck to adjust with the monitor. Instead make good adjustment with the computer set up. Also maintain proper height with the chair and desks. Practice sitting straight and walking at regular intervals. It will progress a fine posture.
